How this site earns money

TruePrice is a one-person project. The app and this website are free, and I pay for the servers, the data and the time myself.

Some pages show boxes labelled as advertising, with the brand's name. Each one gives you two links: a partner link and a plain link. The partner link sets a referral cookie, and if you buy something, the brand pays me a small fee. The plain link goes to the same site with no referral cookie and no fee.

Partners never pay for a price, a verdict or an Index score. Every number on this site comes from the same data whether a page has a box or not, and no box is ever placed inside or directly next to a price table, a daily budget, a verdict or a FAQ.
