TruePrice does not collect personal data. The app does not require account creation, login, or any form of registration. You can use all features without providing any personal information.
Data Storage
All price data, favorites, and user preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your usage data on any external server. Your data stays on your phone and is under your full control.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to understand general usage patterns (e.g., which countries are most viewed). This data is aggregated and anonymous — it cannot be used to identify individual users.
Third-Party Services
Apple App Store: TruePrice is distributed via the App Store. Apple's own privacy policy applies to the download and payment process.
AI Price Check: When you use the AI price-checking feature, your question (e.g., "Is $15 fair for a taxi in Bangkok?") is sent to our server and forwarded to an AI provider (OpenRouter) for processing. No personal data, device identifiers, or location data is included in these requests.
Children's Privacy
TruePrice is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since the app collects no personal data from any user, there is no risk of children's data being processed.
